The War for Summer

So it is now March. Where I am, summer break is only a good 28-ish days soon and people are anticipating lots of sun and sand. As nice as these things are, I dare not take my daydreaming any further... not when there's still war before me.
I'm out of shape, sleep deprived and maybe a little home sick. Ironically its my home here that makes me miss my real home.
Interestingly, we were briefed about how art is to be approached in this post modern deconstructive era. That took a while and a good chunk of gray matter to process though I must admit I'm not really that good a thinker. Nevertheless, that was some good intel to take into the battle

Last post of the year! I haven't posted in ages and I'm missing this a lot. Anyway, so what to say.. Uhhh..
The end of the world cometh!! Repent all ye sins!! bla bla.. hahaha.. Just kidding. I'm not even the least worried about that.
The past year has been great. So many things I went through. Stuff I never thought would come so soon, things long prayed and worked for. Crazy year if you ask me. In three or so months I'll be done with my first year in art school. That's probably one of my hi lights this year. Been away from home like I wished for. Had the unparalleled bliss of reunion with friends and family. Learned, learning and will lear

Another Calm Before Another War

So its been over a week since the start of the semestral break and I can't help but feel my old habits nibbling on me like the zombies they are. In more or less acceptable ways I've survived the last five months of classes with enough sanity to be able to appreciate everything that took place from end to end.
Been through some crazy stuff. Collided with some rather harsh realities I would have rather kept whimsical but as it has always been, its always better not to dwell and keep moving.
I love everything I learned and am still learning. Met people, got mad at some, found some intriguing and some are just down right weird.
Now here I am.
